The Impact of Inflow Unsteadiness on Loss Prediction
This work was well received by the reviewers and was given a journal recommendation!
In this work we are showing that, despite commonly made assumptions, turbulent transport terms are not negligible in compressor flows. This effect becomes more significant as the inflow becomes more unsteady and this has an effect on the stagnation pressure measurements that would be typically used to estimate cascade loss.
